KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs the installation configuration and maintenance of complex database management systems DBMS including Oracle my SQL postge SQL aur Aadarsh as required
- Designs and implements robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data availability and business continuity
- Monitors production data bases regularly or respond to any database issues by bringing down the database are taking the database of fish
- Workers closely with the change control and release management functions to commission and install new application
- Communicates regularly with technical applications and operational employees to ensure database integrity and security
- Conducts regular security and its and vulnerability assessments to maintain compliance with data protection standards and regulations
- Works collaboratory with cross functional teams including developers system administrators network engineer and business stakeholders to support database related initiative
- Performs any other related task as required
SKILLS
- Advanced proficiency in database administration tasks including database installation configuration maintenance and performance tuning
- Advanced knowledge of SQL to bright complex queries Store procedures and functions
- Ability to monitor database performance identify and resolve issues and optimise database operations
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently whole maintaining a high level of attention to data on each project
- Excellent problem solve skills to trouble shoot database related issues and implement effective solutions
- Excellent political skills related to working with unstandard data sets
- Ability to manipulate process and extract value from larges discontinuated data sets
Qualifications and certifications
- Bachelors Degree or equal and in computer science engineering
- 11 to certification such as must DBA Oracle associate
- 11 to certifications such as Microsoft certified Azure database administrator associate Oracle certified professional (OCP) database administrator
- Completion of database management courses covering topics like database administration, Data modelling SQL and performance tuning can provide functional knowledge
- Required experience
- Advanced demonstrated experience working as a database administrator with in and information technology organisation
- Advanced demonstrated experience running and creating health assessment reports
- Advanced demonstrated experience in Oracle enterprise
- Advanced demonstrated experience in Microsoft SQL server
- Advanced demonstrated experience managing data bases
